Broccoli is a vegetable-shaped petals are easily damaged. Usually after saving two days will change to yellow. Therefore when buying, choose broccoli florets with the petals and dark green paste. This as a sign of broccoli was fresh and young. Do not cut the long stalks and leaves. Simply cut a little and dip them in water. Wrap flowerets with clean paper or plastic and store in refrigerator. If stored longer, you should briefly boiled broccoli with the stems. Sprinkle cold water then drain. With thick plastic wrap then store in freezer. Never wash the broccoli to be saved because the water will make the broccoli more easily damaged or rotten though stored in the refrigerator.
